A 21-year-old recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania has sued the school’s Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, alleging he was raped, infected with the human papillomavirus, and disfigured during a rush party. Reginald Stewart says he was forced to consume excessive amounts of alcohol in 2013 then sexually assaulted by another recruit, Charles Gibson. He also claims he contracted HPV and had to undergo reconstructive surgery on his rectum. He is seeking nearly $500,000 in damages. Gibson claims the two had consensual sex and denies passing HPV onto Stewart.
