London Mayor Says Ebola Will Come to UK

London mayor Boris Johnson has said he has “little doubt” that Ebola will arrive in the United Kingdom and “probably” in London. During an appearance on the BBC’s Andrew Marr show, Johnson said that although London has “fantastic preparation” for the virus, the screening processes currently in place at British airports are “far from perfect.” The U.K.’s chief medical officer has also warned that Britain should expect a “handful” of Ebola cases in the next few months.
