Hacking season is in full bloom. On the heels of a high-level hacking of the AP’s Twitter account, discount company LivingSocial.com announced Friday that it had been hacked. Attackers were able to access the names, e-mail addresses, birthdays, and encrypted passwords of at least 50 million of the site's customers. As a security measure, the company’s CEO Tim O’Shaughnessy reached out to all customers via email asking them to reset their passwords. Who knew coupons could be so dangerous?
