Libyan Rebels Mass for Attack in Sirte

With Tripoli reportedly free of Muammar Gaddafi’s men, Libyan rebels are massing for an assault on Sirte, Gaddafi’s birthplace and one of his loyalists’ last holdouts. NATO airplanes targeted the city Friday, and a British and French special-forces team is helping to coordinate the assault. Meanwhile, The Washington Post reports on concerns that rebels have carried out reprisal attacks on Gaddafi loyalists. Amnesty International says alleged crimes include abuse, torture, and extrajudicial killings.
