Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors’ late-game comeback wasn’t enough to stop the Cleveland Cavaliers from claiming a 96-91 victory in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday. LeBron James had 40 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists for the Cavs, who took a 2-1 lead in the series. Matthew Dellavedova scored 20 points and helped Cleveland hold on to the lead after the Warriors came back to close a 20-point deficit to one with about 2 1/2 minutes left. Curry scored 27 points, with 24 points in the second half after his team scored only 37 during the first half. Cleveland hosts Game 4 on Thursday.
