The Flight 93 National Memorial outside Shanksville, Pennsylvania opened on Thursday, the 14th anniversary of 9/11. The flight is believed to have been diverted toward the White House or U.S. Capitol, but the 33 passengers and seven crew members revolted against the hijackers. Voicemails the passengers left family are featured at the memorial. "As you listen, you marvel at how calm they were," keynote speaker and former NBC News Pentagon correspondent Jim Miklaszewski told more than 1,000 people. "It's as if they didn't want to strike fear into the hearts of their loved ones."
