Last Hostages Freed in Outside Chicago

The two armed men engaged in a standoff with police have been arrested and the last four hostages released on Wednesday. The final four included two adults and two children. The standoff ended after roughly 21 hours, which began when police responded to a possible burglary at the house. As the night progressed, negotiators managed to get the men inside to release hostages, of which there had been six children and two adults. Gunfire broke out when the police first arrived, leaving two officers wounded.
