LA Police Fire Bean Bags on Riot

Los Angeles police fired nonlethal bean bags to tame a rowdy crowd and set up a “mobile jail” for the hundreds that gathered for the Electric Daisy Carnival Experience film premiere at the famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Police in riot gear shut down streets in the area, while rioters danced on police cars, threw bottles and other objects and even were “planking” outside the premiere of the film, which is about the Electric Daisy Carnival Experience. The film’s premiere—and it’s afterparty at nearby club—has been promoted for weeks, but the premiere ended being invitation-only and when news leaked about the event, hundreds tried to crash it.
