Twilight fans, mark your calendars! The Los Angeles Film Festival will feature the world premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, as well as 200 other films. The festival, sponsored by the LA Times, will open on June 17 with The Kids Are All Right, a film starring Annette Bening, Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo, and Mia Wasikowska. It will close on June 27 with the 3-D animated film Despicable Me, which features voice-overs by Steve Carrell, Jason Segel, Russell Brand and Kristen Wiig. In between are over 200 foreign films, short films, and documentaries that will play across screens in the city’s downtown area. Much of the buzz surrounding the festival centers on the David Slade-directed Twilight installment, set to play on June 24th. The screening, which is invitation only, falls six days before the film’s June 30th domestic release.
