Jared Kushner, President Trump’s adviser and son-in-law, has hired prominent trial lawyer Abbe Lowell to be a part of his legal team, his representatives said Monday. Special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating whether any of Trump’s presidential campaign advisers worked with the Russian government to meddle in the 2016 presidential election. Several members of Trump’s team have hired prominent lawyers since the probe began. Kushner’s robust team also includes Jamie Gorelick, the former deputy attorney general. Lowell has represented various high-profile figures from both parties, including former Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff and former Democratic vice-presidential nominee John Edwards.
