Kerry Makes Unannounced Pakistan Visit

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in Pakistan on Monday on an unannounced visit to discuss counterterrorism issues. His visit comes as Pakistani schools in Peshawar reopened for the first time since the vicious attacks that killed 134 children and dozens of adults. Kerry is expected to meet with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to urge him to do more to crack down on militant groups within the country.
