Kabul Blast Kills 1 Near Iran Embassy

Afghan police said a suicide bomber driving a car full of explosives hit a Turkish embassy car outside Iran's embassy in Kabul during morning rush hour on Thursday. Deputy Interior Minister Mohammad Ayub Salangi said the vehicle was targeted and the blast left at least one dead. The Taliban claimed responsibility and said it targeted a convoy of foreign forces. The Turkish and Iranian embassies are next to each other near the center of Afghanistan's capital. The bombing is the second time an embassy vehicle has been targeted in Kabul.
