Jurors Flee Over 'No Snitching' Fears

A culture of fear is quietly preventing justice from being served in Milwaukee. Potential jurors for the case of Robert McCorkle, who is charged with murdering 26-year-old Richard Conn, were being dismissed after saying they feared for their safety after the outcome of the trial. The pleas spotlight a "no snitching" culture in Milwaukee in which recent many have been attacked or killed after giving witness testimonies. Police Chief Edward Flynn said that victims “are understandably afraid of being re-victimized. Witnesses are logically worried about being the rat.”
