Joyce Mitchell Pleads Guilty to Helping Convicts

Joyce Mitchell, the prison seamstress accused of helping two inmates escape a New York state prison, pleaded guilty Tuesday as part of a plea deal for a sentence of as much as seven years. Mitchell will not face additional charges for a plot to kill her husband or for any sexual contact with the prisoners.
