Journo Gets 12 Years in Prison

Saudi Arabia isn’t known for freedom of the press, but this latest sentence is still shocking, Journalist Wajdi al-Ghazzawi was sentenced to 12 years in prison for “disobeying the ruler on a television program” when he accused the kingdom of contributing to terrorism. He was also charged with “inciting sedition” and is not allowed to leave the country for 20 years.
