Jose Reyes Suspended 52 Games for Domestic-Assault Arrest

Major League Baseball handed Colorado Rockies star shortstop Jose Reyes a 51-weeks suspension Friday in response to domestic-violence charges against him. Reyes was arrested for allegedly shoving his wife by her throat into a glass door on Halloween. The Rockies placed him on leave on Feb. 23, and will continue his suspension until May 31, causing him to miss a total of 52 games.
