Jessica Lange Awarded Eastman House Honors for Photography

Academy Award-winning actress may be known for her work in front of the camera, but this week she was celebrated for her work behind one. The Grey Gardens star was the inaugural recipient of the George Eastman House Honors award in Rochester, New York, for her contributions to the world of photography. To coincide with the award, the Eastman House is currently exhibiting 50 Photographs by Jessica Lange through September 20. Lange began studying photography at the University of Minnesota and returned to it many years later when her longtime partner, Sam Shepard, brought home a Leica.
