Jerry Sandusky’s Son Pleads Guilty to Child Sex Abuse

One of the sons of former Penn State University assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky has pleaded guilty to child sex abuse charges nearly six years after his father’s arrest for child molestation. Jeffrey Sandusky pleaded guilty Friday, one week before trial was set to begin against him for allegedly pressuring a teenage girl to send him nude photos and asking her teenage sister for oral sex. The younger Sandusky will spend up to six years in prison on the charges, though a judge could issue a harsher sentence of up to eight years. Sandusky, a prison guard, was a devout supporter of his father during his 2012 trial and fought to clear his name. The elder Sandusky is serving a lengthy prison term for sexual abusing 10 boys over several years.
