Jeb Goes Off Script on Immigration

Jeb Bush didn't plan to mention immigration during his presidential announcement speech on Monday, but then protesters got him to say the magic word. Shouting "Legal status is not enough!" from the bleachers, the Republican turned to them and said, "The next president will pass meaningful immigration reform so that that will be solved, not by executive order." The former governor of Florida promised to get the U.S. economy growing at 4 percent annually to add 19 million jobs, and took shots at the "phone-it-in" foreign policy of the "Obama-Hillary-Kerry team."
