Jeb Calls Confederate Flag ‘Racist’

During a visit to South Carolina on Monday, Jeb Bush condemned the Confederate flag and called the controversial symbol "racist." The GOP presidential candidate explained that he had ordered its removal when he was Florida governor even though it was "politically incorrect." Bush said he supported South Carolina's Republican governor for announcing support for the flag's removal from statehouse grounds, calling it bad for business. Bush also met a group of 50 religious leaders in a hotel near Emanuel AME Church.
