Japan Could Ban Access to Nuke Zone

Japan is expected to legally ban people from a 12-mile radius surrounding the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Plant, a change from the current evacuation zone which is technically voluntary. In recent days, some families have begun returning to the zone to recover belongings, while some 200 households—mostly elderly people and livestock farmers—never left. Nuclear experts worry the increasing traffic will make it difficult to decontaminate the area.
