Literary critics drive authors crazy. So crazy that they’re willing to take the concept of ‘ink’ to a whole new level. On Wednesday night, novelist James Wray unveiled his latest project: a tattoo of Times critic Michiko Kakutani, which spans his entire back. The crowd was aghast when they saw the “MICHIKO 4 EVAH” magic marker tattoo, which is complete with an image of her ever-elusive face. This should be news until, well, the tattoo washes off.
