The new film version of The Great Gatsby, directed by Baz Luhrmann and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, isn't out until next month, but this week the actor Jake Gyllenhaal released his first audiobook—and sure enough, he chose F. Scott Fitzgerald's Great American Novel. Listen to him read the famous opening passage of chapter three, describing the excesses of the 1920s.
