The young singer who performed at President Trump's inauguration last month said Wednesday that she was "disappointed" in the commander-in-chief's plans to roll back transgender student protections. Jackie Evancho, who is 16 years old and has a transgender sister, tweeted at Trump asking for a meeting to discuss the issue. "@realDonaldTrump u gave me the honor 2 sing at your inauguration," she wrote. "Pls give me & my sis the honor 2 meet with u 2 talk #transgender rghts. I am obviously disappointed in the @POTUS decision to send the #transgender bathroom issue to the states to decide. #sisterlove."
