J. Lo’s First Husband to Audition for 'Idol'

Following the news of her $12 million contract as the new judge of Fox’s American Idol comes word that Jennifer Lopez will face some major awkwardness. Lopez’s first husband, 36-year-old Ojani Noa, is planning to audition for the show. Lopez, 41, who is now married to singer Marc Anthony, has been harassed by her ex-husband Noa on several occasions since their 1998 divorce. First, he was fired as manager of Lopez’s restaurant Madre’s in 2002. Then Noa sued Lopez, and the two parties agreed on a confidentiality agreement. Noa subsequently attempted to write a tell-all book on Lopez, but Lopez sued him for breaking the confidentiality agreement and won a permanent injunction against him in 2007. Later, he planned to make their brief relationship into a film, but was again sued by Lopez for breaching the agreement. Finally, Noa said he possessed a sex tape of the two together, but Lopez’s lawyer denied the claim. “He’s a good singer,” Noa’s manager Ed Meyer told RadarOnline.
