Palestinian medical officials said on Thursday Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian during a raid on a house in the occupied West Bank. The soldiers were allegedly overtaken by a mob while trying to arrest a suspect in the village of Beit Ummar and opened fire on an attacker, according to an Israeli military spokeswoman. Two others were also wounded. A Palestinian doctor at a Hebron hospital said a 52-year-old man was shot and killed and two of his sons were injured. Anti-Israeli settlement activist Yusuf abu Maria told Reuters the shooting occurred inside the house and there were no clashes broke out.
