Israel shot retaliatory air strikes at the Gaza Strip Thursday shortly after a top military leader said that "wider action" was possible in the troubled border region. Three strikes were fired at Gaza militants following a mortar fired by militants in Gaza which hit an Israeli man at a farm. "The situation on the Gaza Strip border is fragile these days," said a top Israeli military official. "We may need to be prepared for wider action. The next round will be big and it needs to end in a way that leaves no doubt who won."
