Iran to Free American Hikers

Their nightmare is almost over: Two American hikers who were arrested as spies after accidentally crossing into Iran in 2009 will be released in two days, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told NBC on Tuesday. Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal were each sentenced to eights years in prison for spying just last month. (A third hiker, Sarah Shourd, was released in September 2010.) Iran set a bail for both men of $500,000.
