iPhone Makes Europeans Late for Work

Some European iPhone owners were late to work on Monday after a glitch caused the phone’s alarm to go off an hour late. The bug has to do with daylight savings time: Although the phone’s clock switches automatically, the alarm for some reason does not adjust. Alarms that don’t repeat, or are set to repeat every day work fine, but those that repeat on other settings (for example, weekdays) are affected. It remains to be seen whether Apple can patch the bug before daylight savings time in the United States next weekend.
