Interior Sec. Zinke Under Investigation for Private Plane Flights
U.S. Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke is under internal investigation for his use of private and government-owned planes on taxpayer money, Politico reported Monday. The interior inspector general’s office confirmed that it had launched an investigation into Zinke's multiple trips on chartered flights, including a $12,000 flight from Las Vegas, where he had given a speech at a dinner hosted by a major donor to his past political campaigns. Last week, former Health & Human Services Sec. Tom Price resigned over scrutiny into his own taxpayer-funded trips on private planes.
