Details of the hazing incidents that have led to the arrests of seven students at New Jersey’s Sayreville War Memorial High School students have begun to emerge. According to one player’s parent, the hazing would begin with a senior football player making loud howling noises in the locker room. The lights were then shut off and a freshman football player would be pinned down by upperclassmen. The victim was then allegedly lifted to his feet as a finger was forced into his rectum and sometimes shoved into the student’s mouth. According to the parent, the hazing ritual took place almost every day in the locker room this fall.
