Hitler's Nude Sketches Auctioned

Several paintings and two nudes sketched by Adolf Hitler when he was an art student in the early 1900s went up for auction in London on March 2. One nude from 1907 fetched £10,000. “Perhaps there is no face because Hitler saw people just as inanimate objects,” observed seller Richard Westwood-Brookes in the The Daily Telegraph. Westwood-Brookes also auctioned another Hitler drawing of an elderly woman, baring resemblance to photographs of his mother at sale.
