Hillary Unveils Gun-Control Proposals

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is expected to release proposals on tighter gun control, vowing to use executive authority if Congress refused to act in what she calls “common sense” legislation. Clinton will unveil her plan Monday—with measures that include cracking down on high-volume gun sellers at gun shows by requiring them to be covered by the same rules that apply to gun stores—at separate town-hall-style events in New Hampshire. Clinton has said she wants to lead a “a national movement” to counter the National Rifle Association as Oregon reels from yet another American mass school shooting, at a community college that left 10 people dead.
