Hero Grocer to Get French Nationality

Lassana Bathily, the Malian grocery clerk who saved 15 hostages in a Paris kosher grocery store last week, will be awarded French nationality for his actions, Interior Ministry Bernard Cazeneuve said in a statement. Bathily, who is Muslim, has lived in France since 2006 and applied last July for French nationality. Cazeneuve said Bathily would be awarded in a ceremony on Tuesday.
