'Monkey Court'

Healthcare.gov Glitches Under Fire

Things got a bit heated during Thursday's House Energy and Commerce Committee hearing on the Affordable Care Act's rocky website rollout. Congressman Frank Pallone of New Jersey said he refused to yield "to this monkey court" when he received backlash from his charge that the GOP is focusing on the glitches in the healthcare website as a means of scaring people out of signing up for health insurance. Pallone addressed the concerns of many at the hearing. "There are a lot of ways to enroll, don’t' be scared by my GOP colleagues into thinking you're going to lose your privacy," said Pallone. "There's no personal health information involved."
