Gunmen Kill 20 in Pakistani Mosques

While members of the Ahmadi sect conducted their Friday prayers in Lahore, men armed with AK-47s broke into two mosques and killed at least 20 people. Witnesses reported seeing four attackers, two grenades, and a bomb detonate on a motorbike outside the building. The Ahmadi sect has been a particular target of Islamist militants in a bloody campaign that has killed more than 3,300 people across the country in the last three years. The government has long considered the Ahmadi, whose founder declared himself a prophet after Mohammed, a non-Muslim minority and has forbidden them from calling themselves Muslims.
