As her country opens a new investigation into the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, Fatima Bhutto tells The Guardian that growing up in Pakistan's leading political dynasty was a life rife with suspicion and fear. Bhutto, a columnist for The Daily Beast, has published a new book, Songs of Blood and Sword, in Britain. Bhutto came of age around the threat of violence and saw many family members murdered. "That doesn't leave anybody—you never get over that," Bhutto tells the British broadsheet.
