Grace Coddington Steps Down at Vogue

Grace Coddington, the longtime creative director at Vogue, is stepping down from her position. Coddington, who rose to notoriety after 2009’s The September Issue documentary highlighted her career and work at at the magazine, says she will still have an office and assistant at the Condé Nast headquarters, but will spend more time developing a perfume and public speaking. “I’m not running away from Vogue, because it opened so many doors,” Coddington said in an exit interview. “But it will be nice to collaborate, and nice to go out (and) give talks to people. It’s just another approach. I’m certainly not going into retirement. I don’t want to sit around.”
