Gov’t Links Manning to Assange

Things aren’t shaping up well for Bradley Manning at his pretrial hearing: federal prosecutors revealed Monday chat logs between Manning and Julian Assange in which they discussed exchanging government information. Other evidence included witnesses who say Manning’s computers contained hundreds of thousands of State Department cables and an email he sent in which he writes, “I was the source of the 12 July 07 video from the Apache weapons team which killed two journalists and injured two kids.” Manning is accused of leaking the cables and other information to Assange’s WikiLeaks.
