Google Broke Canada's Privacy Laws

Sounds like a job for Optimus Prime: The Canadian government says that Google Street View cars broke privacy laws by collecting personal information, including complete emails, email addresses, user names and passwords, and health details. The federal privacy commissioner said the illegal collections were a result of a “careless error.” Apparently, the cars gathered the information from unencrypted Wi-Fi networks as they drove by. The company has until February 1 to delete the improperly gathered information.
