It's about time. Bryan Goldberg issued a post on PandoDaily Thursday in response to the backlash he received on his initial post about the launch of Bustle, his new women's website. "There are many good reasons for the criticism," he began. Among the bullet points, he stated that "to a lot of people, it came across as pandering. And it doesn’t matter if that wasn’t my intention. That’s how it came across." Ultimately, Goldberg said that he is disappointed in himself and doesn't blame the attackers. He apologized for belittling the websites already in existence, as well as defending his new staff. The blog post, he said, "undermined a lot of great people, here at Bustle and in the wider media space. And for that I really am sorry."
