Newt and Callista Gingrich will not be voting in Virginia, the state in which they currently reside, presumably because they can’t vote for Newt. “In this Republican primary, when given a choice between Ron Paul and Mitt Romney, they could not pick either one,” said Gingrich spokesman R.C. Hammond. The former speaker did not obtain enough signatures to secure a spot on the Virginia ballot, nor did Rick Santorum. While Gingrich and his wife won’t be hitting the Virginia polls today, the candidate does plan to cast his vote at home if he’s not the Republican nominee “because no one is worse than Barack Obama,” explained Hammond.
