Gilbert Arenas Suspended for Season

Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas was suspended for the remainder of the NBA season on Wednesday, nearly two weeks after he pleaded guilty to a felony charge for pulling a gun on a teammate in the locker room. Arenas has already missed 12 games, so with 38 games remaining, his total suspension will be 50 games. A source tells The Washington Post that Arenas also asked about the possibility of voiding the remaining four years of his six-year, $111 million contract.
