Gift Wrap Sales Boom

Some good economic news this Christmas: U.S. wrapping-paper manufacturers and retailers say they're seeing double-digit growth, their strongest sales since 2007. Gift-wrap companies struggled through the recession, hammered by more frugal shoppers, department stores cutting back on wrapping services, and competition from overseas. But stronger holiday sales this year have led to a double-digit boost in wrapping sales. There is, however, a shortage of frankincense, as the trees are increasingly endangered.
