Germany Wants to Give Migrants Jobs

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, along with the country’s biggest businesses, have started discussing the prospect of hiring migrants in order to assimilate them. Some 800,000 are expected to arrive this year alone, and the country wants to have people who have made it there actively contribute to its economy. The initial reports of these discussions come days after Germany initiated harsh border controls to ebb the tide of the migrant flow into the country.
