Germany Arrests Alleged Double Agent

This might make things awkward. Germany has arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of spying for a foreign power. While the government has not confirmed it, German newspapers are quoting government sources saying he was an employee of the Federal Intelligence Service and confessed to passing information to the U.S. Apparently, German officials originally arrested him on suspicion of spying for Russia, as the recruitment of German informants has picked up lately by the Kremlin.News of the arrest comes just one day after two Americans who had worked for the NSA testified to the German parliament about electronic data monitoring by the U.S.
