Former President George H.W. Bush was taken to a hospital in Maine on Sunday after suffering from fatigue and low blood pressure, a family spokesman announced on Twitter. “The former president is awake and alert, and not in any discomfort,” spokesman Jim McGrath said. The oldest living former U.S. president, Bush, 93, is expected to remain at the hospital for observation. This marks his second hospitalization since his wife, former first lady Barbara Bush, passed away in mid-April. He spent several days in a Houston hospital last month to treat a blood infection.
