Gaza Keeps Up Rockets Into Israel

Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip fired a barrage of rockets into southern Israel Sunday, hitting an empty school and other targets as violence continues to escalate. Some of the rockets even landed in Egypt. Lawmakers from the Israeli opposition Kadima party are calling for the military to launch an attack on Gaza, while U.S. and Egyptian diplomats are scrambling to keep the conflict from escalating. The latest round of fighting began Thursday after eight Israelis were killed in an ambush along the Israeli-Egypt border.
