Gaddafi Continues Assault on Misrata

Gaddafi's forces kept up a sustained assault on the cities of Misrata and Ajdabiya on Sunday, peppering them with bombs, including controversial "cluster bombs" that shatter in order to kill the maximum number of people. Reports earlier Sunday said their fire had hit a hospital and residential areas in Misrata. Sunday marked a month since NATO passed a resolution to intervene in Libya, but despite air assistance, rebels have been unable to hold off Gaddafi. Western nations have continually reiterated that they will not send ground troops to help. "What we've said is there is no question of invasion or an occupation—this is not about Britain putting boots on the ground," British PM David Cameron told Sky News in an interview.
