Strauss-Kahn isn’t off the hook yet: Police in France have interviewed Tristane Banon, the second woman to file sexual-assault charges against the former IMF chief. Banon, a journalist, has claimed that Strauss-Kahn tried to take her down on the floor of an empty apartment back in 2003, when she was 22. Just as the Sofitel maid’s case was collapsing last week, Banon came forward with an official allegation. Investigators will deduce from the interview whether they have enough evidence to proceed with a full trial. Strauss-Kahn’s lawyers have said they will fire back with a counter-claim of defamation.
